Karunalayam is the centre for the Eucharistic Evangelization. It was started by the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament.

Purpose of the Eucharistic evangelization center:

Effectively make the power of Eucharist known among the great number of people who are still ignorant of the Eucharist.

Animate various groups like youth, children and women instilling in all genuine Eucharistic values

To have prayers and related based on Eucharist also for healing.

This center also will help to a greater extent to prevent people from falling in to trap of new religious movements.

This can also function as containing documentation on the Eucharist.

This center also will help the priest and religious who are in difficult circumstance as that has been the primary concern of our founder, and prominent during the initial stages of our congregations’ growth.

The ministry is envisaged as an on-going work since many of our priests and brothers are interested in it and severed trained lay people could also be involved in it.

KARUNALAYAM

Purpose of the Eucharistic evangelization center is to effectively make the power of Eucharist known among the great number of people and to have prayers based on Eucharist for healing.

To Pray in the presence of Eucharistic lord with the belief that Christ in the Eucharist has the power to effect a radical transformation in all people,
To get deliverance from all bondages, sorrows and worries.
To receive inner healings.
To get relief from all our problems.

NEW RETREAT CENTRE

Karunalayam retreat centre programmes are attended by the devotees from all religions.
To provide comfort to the increasing number of devotees we have proposed to construct a new prayer hall ( retreat centre) in 6300 square feet at an estimated cost of Rs 1000/Sft i.e. Rs 63 lakh rupees.
This project is coming up wholly with the devotee’s contribution only.
The philanthropists and devotees may offer their share in the form of cash or materials for Altar, Interior decoration, sound system, lights and fans, tables and chairs and things alike. (Kindly consult the Father (Director) before offering the materials.
Your contribution can be made in the form of CASH or DEMAND DRAFT drawn in favour of ‘KARUNALAYAM’ payable at Chennai.
