Xavier joined the Blessed Sacrament Fathers with the intention of being a brother and began his ministry at St. Anthony’s Church, Kamarajapuram, Chennai. Being a trained teacher he also took catechism classes in the School. Later he was shifted to St. Anthony’s Church Thundathuvilai where he rendered valuable help with the SCC groups. Having completed his college studies by correspondence he was later approved to go on to studies for the priesthood. He completed his theological studies at Sacred Heart Seminary Poonamallee and the ordination to priesthood was on 21 June 2008. He served at St.Anthony church. Currently he is at the Church of O. L. Help of Christians, Mannurpet as co-pastor.
