Though ordained for the Bombay Archdiocese, Fr. Justin worked for several years on loan to the diocese of Belgaum. He returned to Mumbai Archdiocese and was appointed Principal at St. Sebastian’s High School, Dabul. Feeling the urge to dedicate himself more radically, he joined the Blessed Sacrament Fathers and after his novitiate continued his priestly ministry but with greater focus on the Eucharist. Known for his lively preaching and melodious singing, Fr. Justin is always in great demand for retreats, seminars and teachings at Eucharist and Charismatic prayer meetings. He has authored a couple of books on the Eucharist chiefly to enable people to participate more actively and effectively. He also held several important posts in the Region: Regional Treasurer, Superior at Agashi and Colaba, Director of Students at Mumbai and Chennai. Along the way, more recently, he felt himself called to work exclusively with the ‘Couples for Christ’ association and under their auspices was sent to Manila, Philippines, where he is currently, helping in the foundation of a men’s congregation of priests to serve the CFC.
