One of the batch of two who began SSS life right from the lowest rung of the ladder, Michael hails from Tamil Nadu. Braving the initial difficulties of formation in a different part of India, he went through his college and seminary training creditably and was ordained priest in 1985. Since then he has held several responsible posts in various communities, notably Novice-master, Coordinator of the Indian sector of SSS as they moved towards greater autonomy, and later as Parish Priest at Thundathuvilai. After a near miraculous escape in a car accident, he took up pastoral studies in Chicago and was abroad for almost seven years.

Fr. Michael has been in charge of formation at various levels and also guided the fledgling “Indian Sector” on our long journey towards being an independent Province.

On returning he was engaged in pastoral counseling and assisting in the formation of novices at Agashi. He was appointed at Scholasticate community from June 2008. He is appointed as Director for those who are doing the year of English at Goa. He is also in great demand for retreats, conferences and seminars on Eucharist to priests, religious and lay faithful.

From 2010 he is appointed at St. Francis Xavier's Chapel, Colaba community. Apart from the Chapel ministry he is teaching English to the candidates.
